English Wine DinnerWith Balfour Winery

Balfour wines on a table in The Conservatory

Discover the exciting world of English wine at Beresford House this November, as we welcome Amber Eggleton, Head of National Accounts at Balfour Winery, for a special evening of wine, food and conversation.

English winemaking has evolved considerably in recent years, earning growing recognition for its quality, character and craftsmanship. This special dinner offers the opportunity to explore that progress through a selection of five wines from Balfour Winery, paired with a seasonal four-course menu.

Arriving from 7pm, guests will be welcomed with Balfour The 1503 Classic Cuvée and truffle and Ogleshield cheese gougères, before dinner is served at 7.45pm.

Each course will be accompanied by a carefully selected wine, from a rosé paired with oysters to Balfour The 1503 Pinot Noir served alongside English venison. Throughout the evening, Amber will introduce each wine, offering insight into the winery, its collection and the story behind English wine's growing reputation.

Designed to be relaxed, sociable and informative, the evening is ideal for wine enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike. Whether you're keen to deepen your knowledge or simply enjoy discovering new flavours over a memorable dinner, it's an opportunity to meet a wine expert and experience something a little different.

With Beresford House dressed for Christmas, the Conservatory will provide a welcoming setting for an evening of seasonal dining and exceptional English wine.
