Our Commitment to Sustainability in 2025
As we begin a new year, we want to share the progress we have made on our sustainability commitments and the goals we have set for 2025.
Sustainability has been at the heart of Beresford House's operations for several years, and we are committed to continuing to reduce our environmental footprint across every aspect of the business.
In 2024, we reduced single-use plastics in all venues by 90%, moved to 100% renewable electricity across the estate, and eliminated food waste to landfill through partnerships with local composting and surplus redistribution organisations.
In 2025, we are targeting a 30% reduction in food miles by expanding our local supplier network, and we will be installing solar panels on the roof of the main house. We are also working towards B Corporation certification.
We believe that exceptional hospitality and genuine responsibility are not in conflict — they are, in fact, inseparable.
